Mystical Body of Christ: Family of God, The Church

Baptism brings you into Christ's heart, his Mystical Body, his Church. Before Jesus ascended into heaven, he gave us the Church he wouldn't leave us orphans. He also gave us the mystery that keeps the Church alive: the Eucharist, the mystery of consecration of bread and wine into the body and blood of Christ.
We compose God s family, one family with him in the invisible home of his Spirit. We could not be more ennobled, and that nobility is our comfort and security. In Christ s Mystical Body love is important love that understands all, forgives all, is kind, humble and patient. A river of love courses through all the family of God and binds us always closer together. The Church is a very precious mystery entrusted into our hands.
Do we realize what a tremendous power we have, that Christ has literally handed his Body, the Church, to us? ...God is purifying all of us, so that we might help the Church.
