Following the first volume devoted to the presentation of the different variable speed control systems for electric motors, in this volume the authors develop variable speed electric drives. The first part of this book presents the characteristics and application of power semiconductors. The second part covers the converters used in varaible speed drives. The third part is devoted to their control.
