The World Guide 2005/2006: See the World from a Different Angle

Drawing on United Nations’ and other mainstream data, The World Guide includes all the facts, history, political, and economic analysis you would find in a conventional reference work, but it also offers information on the issues central to the lives of people in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and the Caribbean. The World Guide is written and produced by the Third World Institute in Uruguay, using research from across the countries of the South. As a world reference, it is unique in providing a view of the world "from the South."
