The Forest of Bowland

One of the Queen s favourite places on earth, the Forest of Bowland is one of the most undiscovered wild places in Britain. Stretching from Lancashire to Yorkshire, it has changed its face from its days as a hunting ground for the Kings of England, but it still contains some of the most spectacular views, wildest crags and moorlands, and idyllic rural farmland and small villages and hamlets.
