A well written text, this gives a good account of the closing stages of the war in Western Europe, including the contribution of the the Allied forces that had landing in the South of France, creating a pincer movement of forces into Germany itself. Plenty of maps, colour artwork of uniforms and equipment are accompanied by both colour and black and white archive photos. Overall a good overall picture of events during this period.
