Someone is murdering the top poets in Portland, Oregon. When retired executive, now stay-at-home poet, Laura Ryan and her teenage daughter Zoe Chang try to help police investigate a suspicious death, they discover Tarot cards and possible clues in verse. The poetry community is in an uproar by the time police confirm murders are being committed. Soon Laura's life is also at risk as she attempts to find the killer.
