Ogan of South Sumatra (Prayer Guide)

The Ogan people of Indonesia number aproximately 350,000. Nearly one third live in the small city of Baturaja, another third in Palembang, one of the largest and wealthiest cities in all Indonesia. The remaining third live in in the city of Kayuagung and in villages along the Ogan river. The Ogan people are devoutly Muslim although their architecture, practices and traditions reflect their Hindu and Buddhist roots. This prayer guide tells the stories of actual people, although the names and some details have been changed. We hope that the Lord will stir your heart to intercede on their behalf.
