She was an artist. He was an insurance investigator, working on a case. She sent messages out into the night, folded up as paper airplanes. When one was found, it made the news. The city fell in love with her, but didn t know who she was. She couldn t believe they were making such a big deal out of it. And then the thieves wanted what they thought she had. And he wanted only to protect her. She was blind. He didn t care. He loved her, anyway.
