More than 40 million used cars are sold each year, yet the average person has very little idea what to pay for one or what to ask as a selling price. First published in 1926 for banks, auto dealers and other businesses, the Kelley Blue Book quickly set the standard for used vehicle value guides. In 1993, the book was finally made available to the general public.
