Matilda Takes Ballet

In this second in a series of Matilda books by Janet Yaeger and illustrated by Rusty Watson, Matilda demonstrates the importance of supporting a friend in ballet class, even though she must put her pre-conceived notions aside about her own appearance in a tutu. Even Matilda's mother realizes that she is learning from her daughter. The life lesson in this volume is that a friend is not someone who can solve all of your problems, but someone who will not allow you to face them alone.
