Applied Occupational Ergonomics - 4th Edition

We are proud to bring you the 4th Edition of this textbook which first appeared in 1998. As always, our goal is to provide a unique overview of the current state of knowledge and application trends in occupational ergonomics, in a way that fills the void between very advanced treatments and superficial, topical treatment of the subject. In the previous editions we have focused on integrating this material into a "work methods" orientation. In this edition, however, we are also focusing throughout the text on integrating ergonomic principles in a broader "systems approach" used in engineering design and analysis. There continues to be evolution in tools, methodologies, and standards appropriate to ergonomics and we have updated several sections accordingly.
