In a world full of overwritten and complex books on creating an "Optimum Life", plus a million flowery, incomprehensible tomes on looking within or deeper awareness, Allan Cox is the rare writer who brings the two together - and without all the nonsense! But with deeply penetrating beauty, wisdom and action. It is not in the least bit lightweight!

And remarkably? It is with a simplicity that is so deeply penetrating that one of his "Tweets", or one of the daily poems, has the potential to hit me dead center and unravel a whole ball of confusion in one swell foop! I am amazed at how the simple lines, or one of his photos, can bring such instant clarity to previously murky waters. Or can be sat with more deeply, as meditation, and reveal even more. This books will make a great study group!

And He writes, and "tweets", in a way that goes straight to that perfect intersection of the heart and mind - and the result is a laser clarity I have gotten from very few books in the past. Ah hah moments?! Most definitely. Humbling revelations about the state of my life? You bet! Life altering simple suggestions? Abundant. But Complex processes, how to's and do's and dont's? NOPE! I have read a million of those books and none have more effectively opened my eyes than this lovely, delicious work of art. And it is art. You'll see.

I have never met Allan Cox, but I suspect he will forgive me when I say that I keep his book in the bathroom. My wish is that each of my unsuspecting guests will open it to a random page and feel the astonishment I do each time I do the same, and will give the gift of it to themselves.

I leave you with one of my favorite excerpts from "PART II - Courageous", a section that has gotten me thru one of the most difficult years of my life (2012). It reads,
