A Skeptic's Luck

Intrigue, adventure and romance find Maxine Rholf, botanist in Maine, as she pursues orchid research. She has started wearing Lewis's clothes five years after he was lost in New York during 9/11. The relationship with her wealthy friend Byron is souring. While she collects data in the wilderness, she contends with quarrelsome motorcyclists who step on her orchids. She ignores her doubts, but when daughter Eva tells Maxine that she has seen Lewis at the Bangor airport, she must face a stark possibility -- could Lewis be alive?
