In the days when there were no hospital facilities here or when it was impossible and unadvisable to move a patient, sincere trust was placed in the capable hands of Dr. Charles Young as he successfully performed the operation in the home. His calmness and self-control were most noticeable and helped to ease the mind of many a worried patient. With all his high attainments, Dr. Young remained the time-honored "country doctor". He administered to the tribulations and the bodily ills of his patients, was beloved and honored by the community in which he lived.
