This `Finding guide for texts related to the study of Ovid in the Middle Ages and Renaissance' lists all extant works related to Ovid's works produced between 400 and 1600 and contains a catalogue of manuscripts and a comprehensive bibliography of modern texts related to the study of Ovid during the medieval period. The authors stress that Ovid's life and works cannot be fully appreciated or understood without an analysis of how the poems were transmitted through the medieval period and also how medieval learning and literature were heavily influenced by Classical texts.
