Dynamical Theory (Classics of Soviet Mathematics) (Pt. 1)

This volume is devoted to fundamental papers on dynamical theory. In these, the key concept of the hierarchy of relaxation times in statistical physics, the use of which has had a decisive influence on the subsequent development of the statistical theory of irreversible processes, is introduced. A method of obtaining a system of coupled equations for the probability densities for groups of one, two, or more particles is proposed.
