Software product line engineering has gained tremendous popularity due to its profound impact on software cost, quality and development time. As a result of its popularity, a methodology is required for the process assessment of software product lines. In this book we present a process assessment methodology for software product line engineering. The overall process assessment approach for software product line engineering is divided into a set of process assessment approaches for the business, organizational and architectural dimensions of software product line engineering.
