Building an Organizational Culture of High Performance Through People: Developing High Performance Organization-A Case study of APITCO

This study explores how APITCO,a ?laggard? in consulting business and very Traditional and Bureaucratic organization,akin to public sector unit,has changed,by choice;and in an electrifying period of eighteen months how it achieved business results with 150% improvement.The study shows how a Consulting Organization can change its client organization-its Leadership, employees,how they(External Consultants) ?hand hold? to bring about a cultural renaissance with growth,significant performance improvement and navigated through introduction of some of the latest management concepts-Balanced Score Card,Strategic Planning and Strategic Management,Review and Control,Accountability through Systems Development and Compliance,Client/Customer focus,and Accountability for Results through modern Performance Management system and Awards/Rewards at Team and individual level.The Cultural Dimensions including developing a Value System through a Corporate Philosophy of Management is particularly used as the Grand Design in weaving the latest of several modern management concepts to help an Organization to rediscover itself.This is one such study.
