Tunable Parameters for IEEE802.11 based Ad-Hoc Network: A new algorithm to boost network performance

IEEE 802.11 based Ad-Hoc Network has some parameters to tune performance of network in different environments. In this book, authors discussed about these parameters and finally focused on a particular one, RTS-Threshold. Here, previous work on this parameter is compared. After that, authors proposed an efficient algorithm to tune RTS-Threshold's value adaptively to optimize network performance.
