Elliptic curves and functions: A mathematical introduction

An introduction in the theory of elliptic functions and elliptic curves. Both are a priori different mathematical subjects. However, there is a fascinating connection between elliptic curves and elliptic functions, which is a great example to show the beautiness of mathematics.
