This book tells us about types of parenting and which one that influences on psychological health of adolescent students, particularly in Bekasi, one of regencies in West Java Province in Indonesia. The study in this book involves 151 secondary school students (72 males and 79 females). Their age ranges from 12 to 20 years with the mean age is 14.7 years. The study shows that parenting applied successfully in western contexts become ineffective when it is practiced by parents in eastern contexts, especially in Indonesia. What makes it different?
