Tribal Dairy Farming: Decision making pattern and adoption of technology

Agriculture and animal husbandry have been contributed to the sustainability of rural countryside. In spite of the fact that India is all set to emerge as the largest milk-producing county in the world, it continues to have abysmally low milk productivity. It has been recognized that not only the poorer section but also the upper section of the society not adopt more than 45 percent of the recommended practices at farm level and in the tribal communities the adoption of improved practices is negligible to accelerated the adoption of improved farming practices is necessary to know the decision making pattern in the tribal communities. This book includes many aspect of tribal dairy farming. The findings and recommendations/ suggestions of the study are expected to be useful to the new researchers, students and policy makers for understanding tribal dairy farming and formulating research projects, policies and schemes for achieving the envisaged goals.
