Emamectin Benzoate 5 WG Against Lepidopteran Pests Of Okra and Cabbage

Indiscriminate use of insecticides, resistance development by insects and ill effects posed on environment and natural enemies, have opened the new era of eco-friendly insecticides having novel mode of action with higher bio-efficacy against target insects. One such insecticide is Emamectin benzoate 5 WG with UV protectant belonging to Avermectin group which was developed by M/s Syngenta (India) Ltd. It is superior over already existing Emamectin benzoate 5 SG in relation to increased efficacy against lepidopteran caterpillars and is relatively safe to non-target organisms.
