Calculation of fusion reaction cross-sections: Calculation of fusion reaction cross-section and angular momentum window of 6Li, 16O, 56Fe and 86Kr on fusion with 208Pb

This book has explicitly discussed how the probability of fusion reactions which is named fusion reaction cross-section here is calculated. The book give semi-classical approach to the calculation of fusion reaction cross-section and the angular momentum needed for a possible fusion reaction of the used heavy ions. Heavy ions are those ions whose A>4 and are generally assumed to be too heavy for fusion reaction. This book has shown theoretically that it is possible to have heavy ions fuse.
