Photodegradation of Polymers: Photo-induced Chemiluminescence: Application to the Photodegradation of Polymers

This book reviews factors that contribute to the photodegradation and free radical oxidation of materials. Photo-induced chemiluminescence (PICL) was used as the main analytical technique to study materials degradation by measuring free radical populations from irradiated samples. Samples were subjected to accelerated degradation conditions prior to the PICL measurement to assess the level of degradation.
