This book consist of basic principles, male sterility systems, one line breeding, fertility restoration systems and its genetics and nucleus seed production of parental lines of hybrid rice. The three line (CGMS) and two line (TGMS, PGMS) systems of male sterility and glossary will be useful for easy understanding of under graduate students and post graduate students who engaged in hybrid rice breeding.
