Henri Matisse: Cut-Outs Album

Aged 75, Matisse felt he had said all he had to say in the medium of paint, and embarked on his next period in his career as an artist. Using only scissors and coloured paper, he produced a series of cut-outs which he published in the idiosyncratic album, "Jazz" (1947).
