Lexical, Semantic and Grammar Peculiarities of Fashion Terminology: Applied Linguistics

Formation of fashion terms presents a componet part in language development and international relations, due to which the development of the vocabulary which contributes to the improvement of the language system is possible. The aim of the present work is to examine in detail fashion terms, to explain the causes of their origin, modalities of development, to reveal their advantages, to show the difference in translation from English into the Romanian language, to present methods of translation, to make apart the analysis of terms, to show the connection of terminology with the other branches of linguistics. The examined terms are taken from terminological sources and fashion magazines. The aim of the work is to present fashion terms, peculiarities of their formation and the influence of contemporary life on their formation. The topicality of this theme is confirmed by the fact that having relations with the European countries, we should know the peculiarities, differences and origin of the terms.
