This book presents a comprehensive urban green space aesthetic evaluation (visual, auditory, tactile and olfactory factors) and a simulation method. It aims to address issues of possible incompetence in the part of photographers in taking photographs for near view scenic beauty evaluation. On site survey and non-parametric statistical techniques are explored for scenic beauty estimate (SBE). Visual quality and perception is analyzed and correlated to plant spectral analysis. Data correction approach is also simplified aimed at reducing data heteroscedasticity that can be a problem when it comes to comparison of such a data. The book demonstrates the potential and possibility of using Charged Couple Devices (CCD) to detect plant features from corresponding Electromagnetic radiation colour values taken in situ that may be linked to visual quality variability.
