Security in SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Application Server ABAP: Securability assessment

Software has become inseparable part of our everyday life. The largest portion of the software market is taken by the enterprise software targeted at the enterprises. But how is software overall, and enterprise software, in particular, facing the security challenges in the face of increased software connectivity, extensibility and complexity? This books explores the security of one of the products leading the enterprise software market, namely SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Application Server ABAP. The product's security is presented in detail and subsequently assessed with a method developed by a student of Linkoping University and enhanced further by researchers at the Swedish Defense Research Agency (FOI). Most likely audience are the students and research faculty with an interest in the SAP security as well as a managing and IT personnel involved in any aspects of SAP and, particularly, in the SAP security learning, research, implementation, development and support.
