Description ▲
The goal of the project is to model a computerized system that will simulate the growth of a maize plant under different conditions which are in terms of elements removed from the soil. Factors like Nitrogen Level, Magnesium Level and Potassium Level are taken into consideration. Simulation of the maize plant into normal conditions will first be executed, followed by elements or combination of elements removed from the soil and simulated as well under these conditions which is in 2-Dimension. Users of the system and the simulation will have the records stored in a password-protected split database which will be managed only by the administrators who they also will have an interface implemented especially for them where they will be able to control features of the system. The languages used to implement the software are VB.NET and GDI+ and Microsoft Access has been used for the data management system. The results obtained from the test cases have helped in improving the system and catering for any possible cases.
