Every project has its own unique features and requires particular problems to be identified and tackled in an appropriate way. Often the solutions developed on labour-based projects are innovative and are of potential benefit to many people, outside and inside the project area; if appropriate and used or adapted with sensitivity to the circumstances of the new application.

It is with these factors in mind that it was decided to document the particular standards, designs, methods and proceedures of the Flores Road Project in this Workbook.
