Gunkanjima Saiga Yuji

Built for undersea cool mining, this now uninhabited island was once home to 5.300 people, blocks of high rise flats and owned by Mitsubishi. Its deserted, desolated state has been sensitively captured by Saiga in dramatic profiles against the skyline, interior fading walls crumbling and staircases leading to nowhere.
