This book combines acupuncture, moxibustion and Chinese herb, and systematically introduces the treatments of various diseases. It is divided into five sections and introduces the treatment of internal diseases, obstetric diseases, diseases of eye, ear, nose and throat, surgical diseases and pediatric diseases. Each disease is described with pathogenic factor and pathogenesis, differentiation of syndromes and treatment which includes acupuncture and moxibustion therapy and recipe therapy. For the acupuncture and moxibustion therapy, body acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, ear acupuncture, point injection, skin needle and catgut embedding at acupoints and so on are introduced together with prescription and manipulation. For recipe therapy, Chinese herbs are given clear indication of reference dosage, along with modification for reference to clinic.
