Planned by the Office of Chinese Language Council International, these series of textbooks are written especially for foreign students with an elementary level of Chinese. The totally 50 lessons are divided into two volumes. There are 11 parts in each lesson: Sentences , Vocabulary , Text , Notes , Pattern Drills , Strike While Iron Is Hot , Vocabulary Extension , Listening and Speaking , Characters , Reading & Writing , and Pronunciation .
