Khushwant Singh's Joke Book 8

When my 7th joke book was in the press, I was not sure I would be alive to see it in print. I was then 92 years old, and not in good health. I almost kicked the bucket one afternoon. I was holidaying in my villa in Kasauli. That afternoon, after having had my siesta, I was on my way out to sit in the garden when for no rhyme or no reason I fell flat on my face. I felt the roof collapsing over my head. Badly bruised, I felt my time to go had come. There was no one in the house I could shout to for help. i could not get up on my own feet. So I pleaded for mercy. Though an avowed agnostic, I have a god I call Badey Main. I had a brief dialogue with him. It went somewhat as follows......kushwant singh
