Introduction to Basic Manufacturing Process & Workshop Technology

Manufacturing and workshop practices are crucial for the competitive industrial environment. This book was designed to cover the syllabus of manufacturing processes/technology, workshop technology and workshop practices for engineering (diploma and degree) classes of different universities and state technical board. In the present edition, the introductory chapters 1 and 2 have been revised with latest manufacturing ideas giving sufficient figures.the chapters on welding and sheet metal work have been strengthened by incorporating more manufacturing techniques. Three additional chapters namely surface finishing processes, miscellaneous manufacturing concepts and advance manufacturing processes have been added to understand the latest concepts and trends in the areas of manufacturing.
