Description

This book on Human Anatomy is meant for common medical students. It is the second volume of a three part series and focusses on the lower limb and abdominal region. The text has been arranged in small classified parts to make it easier for the students to remember and recall it at will. It is adequately illustrated with simple line diagrams which can be reproduced without any difficulty, and which also help in understanding and memorizing the anatomical facts that appear to defy memory of a common student. The monotony of describing the individual muscles separately, one after the other, has been minimised either by writing them out in tabular form, or by evolving the general principles, both of which make the subject interesting for a lasting memory. Treatment of the individual skull bones, barring mandible, has been carefully avoided. The radiological and surface anatomy of the pertinent parts feature separately in the book. A sincere attempt has been made to deal, wherever required, the clinical applications of the subject. The entire approach is such as to attract and inspire the student for a deeper dive in the subject of anatomy. Throughout the text the language has been altered to give the text greater flow. Many sections have been rewritten. Extensive work has been done on the illustrations.
