Forty Hadith ; On the Superiority of Knowledge, Learning and Teaching

Islam is the religion of llm, or knowledge, especially such knowledge as is related to the understanding of Allah. The Prophet Muhammad held that seeking knowledge was incumbent on every Muslim. According to a Hadith narrated by Ibn Abbas, the Messenger of Allah said, "For those who go on a quest for knowledge, Allah will smooth the path to Paradise: As the title suggests, this book is a compilation of 40 Hadiths which stress the importance of knowledge, learning, and teaching. The selection for this compilation has been made and rendered into English by Dr. Assad Nimer Busool. Dr. Busool is a prolific writer in English, Arabic and Hebrew.
