Description ▲
The present methodical study aid is written for several reasons. A thorough understanding of any part of theoretical physics is meaningless without applying theoretical knowledge to the solution of problems in different types of works. In this dimension, a better understanding of physical phenomena essentials are arrived at, along with an improvement in approaching and manipulating complex and different types of mathematical apparatus. A series of interesting study aids with a collection of problems in electrodynamics exists. However, a two-fold difficulty arises when using them. First, when selecting problems corresponding to the lecture course, students are often referred to a series of study aids with a collection of problems, which create an inconvenience to the students. Second, there is a scarcity and lack of books in the libraries. The library may have few books, and in some cases the books may be totally absent. The regular use of books by the faculty may create a problem, as there may not be a sufficient number of them available to all students since they need to use the same book simultaneously. The lectures read by the authors for the ground course of relativity and electrodynamics are of the style presented in the textbook of the course entitled: Relativistic Theory and Electrodynamics. Consequently, the order of the selected problems in this study aid is in resonance with the order of headings in the given course.
