This book is generously and beautifully illuminated with color photographs by Dushyvant Parsher, mostly shot in the lush tea gardens of Assam, Niligiri Hills, Darjeeling and Kangra in Himachal Pradesh. The author has played leading roles in Williamson Magor Group and B&A Ltd. He has also served the public sector heading up India and Bengal's Chambers of Commerce/Human Resource committees and as Banking Ombudsman for the Reserve Bank of India (North-East India region).The photographer regularly contributes his work to various tourism promotion ventures, as well as books and magazines at home and abroad. His two previous books cover the N.C. Hills and Bhutan.
