The Kingdom of Heaven in the Spiritual Vision of Rudolf Steiner

On the market you can find a considerable number of books devoted to the attractive and popular topics of secret associations (Freemasonry), occultism, Kabbalah, etc. However, as you read a great part of such publications, you cannot resist the impression that they hardly explain anything, they seem to be “grouping in the dark”, treating a given issue only superficially, without searching for the essence. The Author of this publication aims at delving into the heart of the matter, and, above all, at understanding the philosophical and religious doctrine not only of anthroposophy, but also some branches of Freemasonry. This publication constitutes an innovative approach to the issues tackled by Rudolf Steiner, the best-known Gnostic in the modern times. The Author performed the analysis of the data offered in numerous works written by the creator of anthroposophy related to the idea of the “Kingdom of Heaven” (in the Bible) and created a model of it. Furthermore, he verified this model against the synthesis of the biblical data. He undertook to project the experience and knowledge of the creator of anthroposophy onto the scientific plane, in particular onto the field of philosophical and biblical studies. As the Author believes, this work has been adjusted to the needs of an average reader. The complex and sometimes difficult terms have been simplified as much as possible, and explained in such a way that they have become accessible for the general public. The book includes an extensive introduction to Rudolf Steiner’s neognosis, where it tries to explain and specify the most significant anthroposophic terms as clearly as possible (in a textbook fashion). One of its main features is the answer to the question: in what way does the broadly understood contemporary esoteric mysticism define some of the truths conveyed in the New Testament (in particular, how does it imagine the biblical Heaven)?
