The Constant Listener

One cannot produce what one has not received. If we believe this axiom to be true, we could posit one cannot say what one has not heard, i.e. one cannot speak if one has not listened. As a result, then, the more one listens, the better one will be able to speak, i.e. ‘constant listeners’ are more likely to become proficient speakers.
