Kinder und junge Helden: Innovative Aspekte des Umgangs mit der literarischen Tradition bei Kallimachos (Hellenistica Groningana)

This study on the theme of children and young heroes in Kallimachos focuses on central aspects of his poetry: its intertextual dimension, referring to literary tradition as well as contemporary texts; its narrative strategies; and its poetological potential. A representative cross-section of Kallimachos' oeuvre illustrates, on the basis of his juvenile protagonists, thematic parallels and contrasts between corresponding texts.
