Description ▲
The NATO TigerMeet is a well-known yearly event in Europe, where all the Squadrons of the different Air Forces with a Tiger ( and "big cats") as squadron emblem come together during one week to have combined exercises and social events. Special "Tiger" painted aircraft are part of this event, and the various squadrons try to bring over the most colorfull aircraft of the show. In 2001 the NATO TigerMeet celebrated its 40th anniversary, while during that year also this concept took place in the States for the first time: The TigerMeet of the Americas was born. Several USAF, Air National Guards and Canadian Squadrons with a big cat as squadron emblem came together in Colorado. This book uncovers these two events with all full color pictures from a dozen different photographers, showing a wide variety of ground and air-to-air photos.
