In the Wake of a Woman: The Pioneering of North-Eastern Scania, Sweden, 10,000-5000 BC: The Arup Settlements

Flint material and settlement remains from the Late Palaeolithic Ahrensburg culture, as well as the Early and Middle Mesolithic from a newly excavated site is presented and interpreted in detail. The well preserved remains give new insights into everyday life and rituals. The Arup site is rapidly becoming a classic site of Scandinavian archaeology.
