This volume of historical statistics, the first in a series covering selected subjects, is intended to supplement the monthly bulletin Main Economic Indicators by providing the reader with a considerably longer run of data (1962-1991). This volume covers price, labor, and wage statistics and includes historical data for all series currently published in the monthly bulletin for these subjects, taking into account revisions effected by compiling agencies as well as the most recent seasonal adjustments made by either these agencies or by the OECD. The book is arranged in chapters by country. The final chapter presents aggregate data for OECD-Total, Major Seven Countries, OECD-Europe, and the EC. The base year for most data is 1985.
