The course is organized under three functions at the management level of responsibility to cover all the required functional elements. Specifically, this course covers the minimum standard of competence for chief engineer officers and second engineer officers on fishing vessels powered by main propulsion machinery of 750 kW propulsion power or more required by regulation II/5 of the 1995 STCW-F Convention.X
