In Quest: Poems of Chou En-lai (English and Mandarin Chinese Edition)

Chou En-lai's fame as one of modern China's greatest statesmen and diplomats has by far eclipsed his reputation in other fields. Few, for example, know that he was also a poet. This is a collection of 14 poems he composed in his youth. In it we can discern his resolve for the reconstruction of China even in his teens. Translator Nancy T. Lin is well acquainted with both Chinese and American literature and has here given a vivid English rendering of Chou En-lai's poems.
