Selected Short Stories and Poems from Thailand

The pieces in this collection have been selected from the works of ten contemporary Thai writers who won prizes in various categories in the Southeast Asian Writers' Award. Those whose works have been selected here are known poets and short story writers, two of whom have ben named National Artists in Literature. This translated collection offers an insight into Thai culture to a wider, international audience, and an introduction to the literary scence in the kingdom.
